すでに足を運ばれた方もいらっしゃると思いますが、昨年よりBJAFA コミュニティ・ガーデン”Heaven’s Gate Community Garden”ができました。今回は、そちらで、NYでご活躍の日本人美術家のニイゼキ ヒロミさんをお招きしての春のプレイデートを開催いたします。同時に、フリーマーケットも行います。

On Going Participatory installation.
Over 300 pockets from donated used clothes were hand sewn on Canvas, 72” x 174”, will appear at the garden.
It originated in March 2011, right after the massive earth quake, tsunami and Fukushima nuclear plant incidents which have killed over 18,000 people in Japan, where I am originally from.
It continues to grow with thousands of responses to a question for “If you could find anything you like in a pocket what would it be? Write it. Draw it. Leave It in a pocket. Read what others said.”
