Would you like to learn Japanese while your child does the same at Brooklyn Nihongo Gakuen ? We will be offering a fun and innovative Japanese language class for beginners and intermediate adult learners starting April for a select group of five adults per class. Our first trial session will begin April 9th and will continue till June 18th for a total of 8 classes.

Beginners Class: Class Time: 9:30-10:30
For those of you who have never taken a Japanese language class, this is what you’ve been waiting for. If you can’t speak, read or understand the language but have the desire to learn, then this is your opportunity! Grab it while you can!
Intermediate Class: Class Time: 10:45-11:45
For those of you who are conversant in Japanese and are looking to hone and advance your communication skills, this is your class. There is no need for you to be able to read hiragana, katakana or kanji. The main focus will be the spoken language and having fun while improving your communication skills. Class will cater to each student’s needs with special attention paid to respective goals.
Instructor: Ikuko Sugiyama
Japanese language instructor with specialized training in the innovative language acquisition method called the “image lesson method” that utilizes image-expanding materials that go beyond the textbook.
Currently the BJAFA Accountant and soon to begin providing administrative support for the organization, she has taught beginning Japanese to a wide range of students from children to adults. Her NYC Sundays are spent singing gospel at church.

初級クラス
日本語の勉強はこれが始めて、日本語は全くわからないという方のためのクラスです。全く話せない、読めない、わからない、でも日本語を学びたいという気持ちは強く持っている！そんな方は是非こちらのクラスで日本語の楽しさを学んでください。

中級クラス
日本語を使った簡単な会話が出来る方は是非こちらのクラスで日本語のコミュニケーション力をアップしましょう。字がわからなくても全くOK！日本語で楽しく会話が出来ることを目標に、それぞれのレベルに合わせた内容でレベルアップを目指します。
